Alive to the End

i have died many times
lived many lives, died living
with different faces
and life divided

i have fallen
like a sweet souffle
a perfect implosion
an autumn leaf
only to rise again
lift my wings
fly again

i have turned a week inside out
and filled a day
with months of discoveries
and forgotten wishes
while listening
to the murmur of a breeze

i shed a light on myself
search under my skin
peeling off layers
counting my lessons
an adventurers diary
embossed on my soul

Wonderfully full of the contradictions of life. I would only wish for a more hopeful title, as I don’t feel this is about loss, more about meditation. Nicely done! Do you submit to any of the online weekly poetry communities? There is a wonderful group of poets out here in the ether.
