Going Downtempo

She lit some candles

And put her smell-good on

And sexy downtempo.

I’ve played this game before

Even in daydreams…

But before we play,

We build on the mystery

The seduction…The foreplay.

I always enjoy finding myself

In the bedrooms of strangers

Stranger the morning after

A night at the club with house music

I search for the obligatory French press

As the lonely nurse uniform

Lies on the floor…

Different scents and lighting

And flat mates

And personal hygiene products

And the unexpected pet…

Yes, they’re always stranger the morning after… loved the ‘unexpected pet’ line which, itself, was unexpected.

    Nice One Shot, Giovanni!
