    “through pain, palpitations and pressure
    through a smog of regrets
    blanketed by a bittersweet symphony
    my mind recognizes a prince
    acknowledges a wounded warrior
    respects a man of fortitude
    righteous to the core
    with a dancing spirit
    with arms wide open
    giving thanks to the world”

Wow! I could hear my own story in those words. Powerful, honest words. Good for you for letting it all out and daring to publicly exorcise yourself of past pain in search for the promise of light each new day brings. It´s an ongoing process, but writing (and I bet your cooking too) helps to turn it into something beautiful.
Keep it up! I´ll definitely be back. 🙂

Appealingly sensitive verses emitted by a man who knows who he is and where he has been!
Writing, while being a fine vehicle for self expression, is best served by personal experiences and strong emotions. To write while staying in the moments of ones emotions best exemplifies The Truth in us all.
    I salute you Mr. Cucullo!
